Kriteria seleksi
a. The successful applicant will be awarded the Scholarship strictly on the basis of academic merit.
b. The successful applicant will be awarded the Scholarship by the Chair of the Higher Degree by Research Scholarship Sub-Committee of the Academic Board based on rankings compiled by and recommendations of the Admission Office.
You must:
- be a citizen of Papua New Guinea
- have an unconditional offer of to study a Master of Agriculture and Environment, Master of Public Health, Master of Global Health, Master of Education or Master of Social Work
- have applied for admission in Semester 1 and received an unconditional offer of admission by 31 October in the previous year
- have an Australian bachelor's degree with outstanding results, as deemed by the University of Sydney.
Benefits
This scholarship provides a fortnightly stipend valued at the at Research Training Program (RTP) rate, other benefits include:
- academic course fees
- Student Services Amenities fees (SSAF)
- Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC)
- visa application fee
- one return economy airfare between Port Moresby and Sydney
- Advanced Skills for Academic Success Program (ASAS) (compulsory four-week program)
- a book allowance of AUD $350 per semester for two semesters only.
- This scholarship is tenable for the CRICOS-registered duration of your study, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
No application required. Eligible students apply for admission for eligible courses will be considered automatically.
