The University of Waikato GEMS Scholarship

This Scholarship is available for all subject areas. Open to applicants enrolled at a GEMS Education Network School.

This Bursary is for students who are able to begin their studies face-to-face in New Zealand, it will not be applied to students who begin their studies online.

Eligibility

Open to applicants enrolled at/recently graduated from a GEMS Education Network School (see link above) in the year prior to tenure, applicants must be intending to enrol at the University of Waikato for the first time in an undergraduate degree. Up to three scholarships with a value of up to $10,000 will be awarded annually.

1.1. To be eligible for nomination, nominees must: 1.1.1. be a student of a school of the GEMS Education Network. 1.1.2. not be classified as a domestic student. 1.1.3. not currently be enrolled at the University of Waikato. 1.1.4. not have paid tuition fees or applied for a visa at the time the nomination is received. 1.1.5. be applying to enrol for the first time in an undergraduate level programme at the University of Waikato. 1.1.6. have met the University of Waikato's English language requirements for admission. 1.1.7. have received an unconditional Offer of Place from the University of Waikato.
