The Accommodation Bursary

Eligibility

To be eligible for the £1300 Accommodation Bursary, you must meet all of the following:

• you are an eligible new first-year Home UK undergraduate student starting studies in 2025/6
• you are registered on a full-time undergraduate degree course
• you are a current student at the time of award and payment
• you have been housed by the University in the 2025/6 academic year
• you have a household income assessment of between £30,000.01 and £42,875

To be eligible for the £620 Accommodation Bursary, you must meet all of the following:

• you are an eligible new first-year Home UK undergraduate student starting studies in 2025/6
• you are registered on a full-time undergraduate degree course
• you are a current student at the time of award and payment
• you have been housed by the University in the 2025/6 academic year
• you have a household income assessment of between£42,875.01 and £62,377

Students residing in couples accommodation are not eligible for an Accommodation Bursary.
