Postgraduate Chancellor's Scholarship for Bangladesh

In order to be eligible, candidates must:

• Have received an offer and selected the University of Birmingham as their firm choice for a full-time postgraduate taught programme starting September 2026, at Birmingham's UK campus.
• Meet the academic conditions of their offer to the programme.
• Be classed by the University as an overseas fee payer for tuition fee purposes and be able to pay the outstanding tuition fees not covered by the scholarship.
• Have paid their £3,000 deposit by the deadline stated in their offer letter from Admissions Office (note the recipient of the full scholarship will be able to request and receive a refund of their deposit payment after enrolment).
• Have sufficient funds to cover the full cost of living at the University of Birmingham, plus any visa/travel expenses associated with studying in the UK.
• Start their studies at the University in September 2026 (the scholarship award may not be deferred).
• Be registered with, and have their postgraduate study application attached to, one of our local representatives listed below in alphabetical order.
• Submit your expression of interest in the scholarship to the local representative by the deadline 30 June 2026.
• Upon enrolment in September 2026, pay their net tuition fees for the academic year by 1 November, immediately following enrolment.

Eligible countries

Open to all nationalities but must be living in (domiciled) in Bangladesh.
