Value of Award
Bursaries of up to £5,000 will be available towards one-off costs, such as study costs or costs for attending and travelling to conferences.
Awards will be determined by a selection panel in the School of Engineering subject to available funds and quality of applications. It is anticipated that 3-5 full bursaries will be awarded each year.
Eligibility Criteria
The Professor BP Hughes Bursary is open to all undergraduate and postgraduate students in the School of Engineering who are experiencing financial difficulties and are needing to meet one-off costs.
Students apply via an online form available on the BP Hughes canvas page. Please visit the canvas page for examples of costs the bursary can cover and for further details about the application process.
There is no deadline for applying as the bursary is awarded throughout the year.
