Scholarship applications are considered by:
the Music, Drama, or Sport department
and the Pro Vice-Chancellors.
The Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship supports new undergraduate students with outstanding potential in drama, music, or sport.
Up to 20 awards of £1000 to £3,000 are made each year. The scholarship is awarded for three years of study, as long as you meet the criteria for renewal. Students on undergraduate courses lasting longer than three years are welcome to apply, but the funding will only be guaranteed for the first three years.
Awards are made on a competitive basis, with some minimum criteria. They are not means-tested.
Eligibility
You can apply if you are:
intending to start studying at the University of Bristol in the autumn of 2025
an International or Home (UK) student.
The scheme is designed to attract students with exceptional abilities outside their normal field of study.
