Roper Scholarship in Science

The scholarship is offered to the eligible candidate in the year of the award who was ranked highest amongst those considered in that year for the other UC Core Doctoral Scholarships without having subsequently been offered one of those scholarships.

This scholarship recognises and supports high-ranked students in a programme for a research doctoral degree in Faculty of Science. It is offered to the single highest-ranked recipient of a 'UC Doctoral Scholarship' who has not been awarded another UC Prestige Doctoral Scholarship and who is studying in Faculty of Science. Top-ranked candidates who have been selected for a 'UC Doctoral Scholarship' are automatically considered for the Roper Scholarship

Tenure: The scholarship is tenable for the period necessary to complete up to 360 points of enrolment.

Applicable Enrolment During Tenure: The scholarship is tenable by full-time and part-time students engaged in study for a research doctoral degree in Te Kaupeka P?taiao Faculty of Science at the University.
