In making the recommendations, the selection committee gives equal consideration to: a. evidence of leadership potential, including, but not limited to, participation in cultural, sporting, and/or community activities and b. academic achievement

If, in any year, there are fewer candidates of sufficient merit than there are scholarships available, fewer scholarships are offered.

This scholarship recognises and supports top students from Malaysia who are beginning their studies in an undergraduate degree programme at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha University of Canterbury.

Applicable Enrolment:
Full-time enrolment in the first year of a programme for an undergraduate degree at Te Whare W?nanga o Waitaha University of Canterbury.
