The scholarship is worth £1000, paid in two instalments in October and March of your first year. There are 30 available. If you are successful in being awarded a scholarship we ask to hear from you twice in your first year, updating us on how you have used the money to support your extracurricular activities. This can be through a blog, vlog or Instagram or TikTok reels – whatever you feel best showcases the activity you have undertaken.
The following courses are not eligible for this scholarship:
- BSc Medical Research
- Degree Apprenticeships
- Courses with an International Year One
- Final Year only courses
- UEA Accredited degrees run by partner institutions
Applicants must have applied to UEA through the UCAS main scheme and have chosen UEA as their firm choice by the deadline to be considered. Students coming through Clearing are not eligible.
Successful students will be expected to provide 2 updates in your first year, around how you have used the scholarship to support your extracurricular activities. This could be in the form of a blog, vlog, Instagram or TikTok reel.
