Selection criteria:
To recognise and reward the financial commitment of paying early, we have two awards available to international students joining UEA in September 2026, for an eligible full-time, Undergraduate or Postgraduate Taught programme. See eligible programmes further down this page.
Early Deposit Award – £500
Students paying the minimum deposit amount outlined in their offer email by 26 June 2026, will receive a £500 tuition fee reduction.
Full Payment Award – up to £1,000
Students paying tuition fees in full (minus any awarded UEA scholarships) by 17 August 2026, will receive either:
£500 if you've already paid your deposit and been awarded the Early Deposit Award or
£1,000 if you haven't.
Please note that the maximum total amount for these two awards is £1,000.
If you meet the Eligibility Criteria, the fee discount of the International Early Payment Awards will be automatic. You do not need to make a separate application.
The award shall be made as a tuition fee discount. No payment shall be made direct to the student. The amount of the award is specified in your award notification email.
Where a programme is more than one year in length, the scholarship will be offered for the first year only.
