Ian Gregor Memorial Fund Bursary for English Literature BA (Hons) or English Literature and Creative Writing BA (Hons)

Applicants must apply via KentVision, where they must provide personal answers to the following questions:

1) Why do you want to study this course or subject?

2) How have your qualifications and studies helped you to prepare for this course or subject?

3) What else have you done to prepare outside of education, and why are these experiences useful?

The successful applicant will be chosen on the basis of:

• The strength of their answers in response to the above questions.
• A level results or equivalent.
• UCAS personal statement and reference.

Criteria

• Open to all full-time applicants who are UK residents paying Home tuition fees.
• Applicants must have accepted a place on either the English Literature BA (HONS) or English Literature and Creative Writing BA (HONS) course at the University of Kent starting in September 2026 by the UCAS deadline of 30th June 2026.
• Applicants must be willing to act as an 'ambassador' for the University, their subject and faculty and attend University events when requested, if not in conflict with either course attendance or classes being in session.
• Current students at the University of Kent are not eligible to apply.
