Kent International Award for Academic Excellence

The award will be awarded to overseas fee paying applicants of the University of Kent who meet all the criteria below.

Applicants must be domiciled in one of the following countries:

• Canada
• China
• Cyprus
• France
• Germany
• Greece
• Hong Kong
• India
• Italy
• Jordan
• Kenya
• Kuwait
• Malaysia
• Mauritius
• Nigeria
• Qatar
• South Africa
• South Korea
• Sri Lanka
• Thailand
• Turkey
• UAE
• USA

Applicants must also:

• be entering an undergraduate degree at any stage at the University of Kent's Canterbury or Medway campus from September 2025
• achieve the equivalent of ABB A level to be eligible for consideration
• have achieved the required grades for at least one of the qualifications specified below and
• have satisfied conditions of entry to the University of Kent.

Please also note the following:

• KMMS students, Medway School of Pharmacy as well as students on a programme which includes a foundation year, are not eligible for this award.
• If you are awarded the Kent International Award for Academic Excellence, you must accept the terms and conditions on KentVision by 15 September.
• This award cannot be used in conjunction with any other award, except the Law and Business Africa Challenge. Should you apply for a higher value scholarship and be successful then you will receive the higher value award.
• This award is also open to international students who are normally domiciled in an eligible country, but who are currently resident in the UK for purposes of study.
