Kent LLM Solicitors' Practice Scholarship (Canterbury)

You must meet all of the following conditions:

For Overseas Applicants:

• Hold a valid passport demonstrating nationality of a country receiving ODA funding from the OECD. A full list of countries can be found on the OECD website
• Be classified by the University of Kent as an Overseas student for tuition fee purposes
• Be fully self-funded

For ALL Applicants:

• Have applied for the taught Kent LLM in Solicitors' Practice at the Canterbury Campus of the University of Kent for entry in September 2026
• Must have achieved a 2:1 or equivalent in your Law Degree at Bachelor's Level.
• Must have undertaken your Law Degree at an institution other than the University of Kent.
• Must provide a short personal statement (500 words) demonstrating what you have done during the course of your law degree to pursue a career as a solicitor.
• Have received an offer of a place on the taught LLM in Solicitors' Practice by the scholarship application deadline.

POINTS TO NOTE:

• You must meet the academic conditions of entry/be accepted for entry for the award to be given.
• This award cannot be held in conjunction with other awards and scholarships
• Where students are required to continue their studies beyond their original period of registration, the award will only be provided for that original period of registration.
