India Scholarship

Who is it for?

The University of Lincoln's India Scholarship is designed to help students from across India to access postgraduate level study at the University of Lincoln. The India Scholarship is offered as a tuition fee discount against the cost of a postgraduate taught programme commencing in the 2027/28 academic year.

Selection Criteria

In order to be eligible to receive the India Scholarship prospective students must meet the following criteria:

Be a national of, or have permanent residence in, India.
Hold a Conditional or Unconditional Offer from the University of Lincoln for a full-time postgraduate taught programme commencing in September 2027 or January 2028.

A £5,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

a) Completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:1 classification or
b) Completed a Pre-Master's degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master's degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University

A £4,000 scholarship will automatically be awarded to students who have:

a) Completed a Bachelor's degree from a recognised institution and have obtained at least the equivalent of a 2:2 classification or
b) Completed a Pre-Master's degree, or a qualification equivalent to a UK Master's degree, with a comparable classification as determined by the University
