Beatrice Shilling Scholarship

Essential criteria are conditions you must meet to be considered for this scheme. Students who do not meet these criteria will not be considered for this award.

To be eligible, you must meet the following:

• Be a woman (inclusive of trans women) / be assigned female at birth (such as AFAB non-binary)
• Have an offer of studying an undergraduate engineering course at The University of Manchester
• Have been assessed for fee status as a 'home' student
• Have chosen Manchester as your firm choice by the June UCAS deadline
• Can commit to contributing to outreach and recruitment activities, especially encouraging more women to study engineering
• Achieve a minimum of 60% average performance during each year of study.
