Humanities International Postgraduate Scholarships

The Faculty of Humanities is proud to offer a range of scholarship opportunities for eligible applicants starting in September 2025.

There is a limited number of awards available for international and UK students. Awards are granted based on your academic achievement and the quality of your programme application. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis across each application stage.

To be considered as domiciled, you must have predominantly resided there during the last three years.

All awards are applied as a tuition fee discount at registration.

Please note: if you are successful in receiving more than one University of Manchester scholarship, the total amount must not exceed 50% of your course tuition fees.

Eligibility:

• 1 year of funding only
• Applicants domiciled in EU or EEA countries, excluding Republic of Ireland, India, USA
• Applicants must be paying international tuition fees
• You must be self-funded (not sponsored)
