Academic Achievement Award

The University of Memphis (UofM) selectively awards competitive merit-based scholarships for newly admitted degree-seeking international students on a J-1 or F-1 visa, taking classes on campus. We value scholarly achievement and academic success and want to attract the best and brightest students to join our cutting-edge programs and to learn from our world-renowned faculty.

GPA - 3.25+ ACT - 22-23 SAT - 1100-1150

Two pathways for academic scholarship consideration:

GPA + Test Score Evaluation: Students are reviewed based on a combination of their cumulative high school GPA and ACT/SAT scores.
GPA-Only Evaluation: Students may also be considered for certain scholarships based solely on their cumulative high school GPA. We encourage students to submit qualifying ACT/SAT scores, as we consider super scores to help maximize eligibility. Updated GPA and test scores may be submitted through March.
