UMKC is now offering the Dean's International Scholar Award (DISA) to new bachelor's and master's students studying on F1 visas. The DISA is worth $4250/semester for bachelor's degree students and $4000/semester for master's degree students, which covers a large portion of the nonresident tuition rate. The summer semester amount is prorated based on your enrollment.
This offer excludes bachelor's and master's degrees in our professional schools, such as the MS Bioinformatics in the School of Medicine.
It is awarded automatically upon admission and automatically renews each year if you maintain a 3.0 GPA at UMKC.
