UNC Greensboro offers merit-based International Student Scholarships of USD $3,000 – USD $6,000 per year to new degree-seeking international students with a minimum GPA of 3.5. Awards are renewable for one additional year with a 3.5 GPA or higher.
Scholarship and funding options are also available from outside programs and organizations. However, most international students should avoid scholarships that require the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) because they will only be eligible if they are on certain immigrant visa types.
No separate application is required.
The deadlines are Feb. 1 for Priority Application and Apr. 1 for Regular Application for Fall admission, and Oct.1 and Dec. 1 for Spring admission.
