The Oxford-EPA Cephalosporin Graduate Scholarship is available for applicants who are applying to the full-time DPhil in Interdisciplinary Life and Environmental Science and based in the Mathematical, Physical and Life Sciences division.
The scholarship is jointly funded by the University and by the EPA Cephalosporin Fund. Sir Edward Abraham (E P Abraham) was an Oxford biochemist who purified penicillin and developed cephalosporin antibiotics. Abraham set up a trust with the royalties he received to support research in the medical, biological and chemical sciences within the University of Oxford and its colleges.
The scholarship covers course fees and provides a grant for living costs. Awards are made for the full duration of your fee liability for the agreed course.
