The EU Scholarship reduces the international tuition fee for your course by £5,000 or £6,500 and applies for the duration of your undergraduate course.
Who is eligible?
You must be an EU, EEA or Swiss national, have lived in the EU, EEA or Switzerland for the last three years, and be assessed as an international fee-paying student.
Postgraduate Scholarships
Scholarships are available to eligible postgraduate taught and postgraduate research students. The amount depends on the academic year you start your course.
The scholarship is only available to students starting from September 2027.
For 2027 Entry onwards
- For Undergraduate you must be an EU, EEA or Swiss national and have been resident in the EU, EEA or Switzerland for a minimum of the last 3 years to be eligible for this scholarship. If you already meet the conditions to be classed as a UK student for tuition fees, you won't receive this scholarship.
- Please note that conditions apply and the tuition fees may be subject to a maximum inflationary rise of 5% per annum.
- For Postgraduate Taught and Postgraduate Research only: You must be a National and domiciled in of one of the following countries: Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Spain and Sweden or be a National of one of these countries and domiciled in the UK.
- The scholarship is available to on-campus full-time and part-time students studying an undergraduate, postgraduate taught or postgraduate research degree at either our main Portsmouth Campus or UoP London campus, with the exception of the Bachelor in Dental Surgery. Any student registering onto this course will not be eligible for the scholarship, and the full tuition fee will be payable.
