Engineering Global Talent Scholarship

This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful.

There are 3 stages to the shortlisting process.

1. We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
2. We score your academic record and qualifications as stated on your UCAS or PGT application form.
3. The panel will decide who gets the scholarships. The panel will consider your supporting statement, alongside your academic achievements to date.
4. We may also shortlist applicants from Least Developed Countries, Low Income or Lower Middle-Income countries.

This is a competitive process, and not all applications will be successful. The decision of the scholarship panel is final. We do not offer feedback on our process.

You will need to provide a 500-word personal statement explaining why you should receive this scholarship.

We cannot accept late applications. If your application is successful, you will receive a confirmation email. We will contact you with the outcome of your application by the end of May 2026.

To get this scholarship you must:

apply for an eligible University of Southampton course before you apply for the scholarship

receive a course offer before the closing date

not be in receipt of any external scholarship, more than or equal to your tuition fees

be an international student paying the Overseas fee
