Southampton Electronics and Computer Science Commonwealth Scholarship

There are 5 stages to the shortlisting process.

1. We check that you meet the eligibility criteria.
2. We score and rank the answers you give on your application form.
3. We shortlist candidates, prioritising applicants from low income countries.
4. We score your academic qualifications stated on your UCAS or PGT application form.
5. A scholarship panel assess your total score.

This is a competitive process and not all applications will be successful. The decision of the scholarship panel is final.

To get this scholarship you must:

apply for an eligible course before you apply for the scholarship

receive a course offer before the closing date of the scholarship

be a resident of a Commonwealth country listed in the additional eligibility criteria

not be in receipt of any external scholarship.

be an international student paying the overseas fee

This computer science scholarship is not available to students studying:

on PGCert, PGDip, Foundation or PGR courses

on Distance Learning courses

with a partner institution

at our campus in Malaysia

on Study Abroad courses

as an exchange or partner student

on Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses

only pre-sessional English – pre-sessional English students with an offer to study at undergraduate or postgraduate level can still apply
