University of Strathclyde, Bahrain – Chancellor's Scholarships

Eligibility

The Chancellor's Scholarships are open to students intending to study on one of the following undergraduate degrees offered at the University of Strathclyde, Bahrain:

• BEng (Hons) Chemical Engineering (Bahrain)
• BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering (Bahrain)
• BEng (Hons) Electronic & Electrical Engineering (Bahrain)
• BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering (Bahrain)
• BSc( Hons) Computer Science (Bahrain)
• BSc (Hons) Software Engineering (Bahrain)
• BBA (Hons) Business Administration (Bahrain)
• BBA (Hons) Business Administration with specialisation in Marketing (Bahrain)

The awards are not available to students planning to enrol on courses delivered at the University of Strathclyde campus in Glasgow, or by distance or online learning.

In order to be considered for a Chancellor's Scholarship, you must have already been made an offer of a place on an undergraduate degree at the University of Bahrain with entry in September 2025.

All prospective University of Strathclyde, Bahrain students are eligible to apply for an award, regardless of their nationality or country of permanent residence.

Scholarships are awarded on the basis of the presentation of a strong case for funding, including both academic and extra-curricular achievements.

Typically, students will not be eligible for a Chancellor's Scholarship if they are also in receipt of scholarships or sponsorships from other funding bodies.
