What is it?
The North-East Postgraduate Discount is a tuition fee reduction which aims to support and retain local talent by helping students with regional links continue their studies at the University of Sunderland.
Who can apply?
This discount is available to Home students who have a connection to the North-East of England and are applying for an eligible full-time postgraduate taught course.
How much will I get?
Your discount depends on when you accept your offer:
20% discount if you go Firm on or before Sunday 1 March 2026
10% discount if you accept your course offer between 2 March and Sunday 31 May 2026.
You can apply for the discount through your e:Vision account by completing a short application form. Once you've logged in, click on the e:Vision homepage, then click on the 'Scholarships and Bursaries' tile and select ' Search the scholarships and funding catalogue'.
