Alan Parker Battersea Scholarship

The Alan Parker Battersea Scholarship will support one undergraduate student with their studies at the University of Surrey by providing £12,000 (£4,000 per academic year for up to three years of study). An additional £4,000 will be given should a Professional Training Year be taken.

To apply for this scholarship, the applicant must:

Be a first-year Home/UK student.

Have a household income of less than £40,000 (please note that this information will need to be verified through the Student Finance England portal, of which further information is shared below).

Be studying an undergraduate degree within the School of Hospitality and Tourism, at the University of Surrey, beginning September (please note that any students who will be in a Foundation Year during 2026/27 are not eligible). This includes:

International Airline and Airport Management BSc

International Event Management BSc

International Hospitality Management BSc

International Hospitality and Tourism Management BSc

International Tourism Management BSc

Please note that we will need to verify your household income through the Student Finance England portal and, for us to do so, you will need the following:
