Electrical and Electronic Engineering Undergraduate Scholarship

This scholarship is open to UK offer-holders for 2026 entry, and is awarded as a £1,000 accommodation fee waiver in the first year of study only.

About

This scholarship is open to UK offer-holders for bachelor degree courses or integrated masters programmes at the University of Surrey. Students living outside of University accommodation will be offered this as a cash award.

Successful applicants will demonstrate academic excellence and a passion for their subject area. The scheme is application based, and awards are decided by a scholarship awards panel.

International offer-holders should apply for the International Excellence scholarship instead.

Applicants must:

Be a UK student, with home fee status
Be starting in September 2026
Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated master's degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in one of the following subjects:

• Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) / MEng
• Electrical and Electronic Engineering BEng (Hons) / MEng
• Electronic Engineering with Artificial Intelligence BEng (Hons) / MEng

Have made their course application through UCAS.

Applicants for the foundation year cannot be considered for this award.
