The University of Sussex are delighted to offer this scholarship of £5,000 to an applicant to the Media department, in honour of Sussex alum Shan Vaswani Borgartz. This scholarship is being offered to facilitate an international student - who might otherwise be unable to pursue a postgraduate degree at the University of Sussex - to achieve their academic goals.
Applicants must have accepted an offer to study on one of the following Masters courses:

- Film Studies MA
- Filmmaking MA
- Gender and Media MA
- International Journalism MA
- Journalism and Documentary Practice MA
- Journalism and Media Studies MA
- Media Practice for Development and Social Change MA
- Media and Cultural Studies MA
This scholarship is for an international applicant assessed as 'Overseas' for fees.
