UTS Southeast Asia International Scholarship

For undergraduate admission, academic merit in the qualification used as the basis of admission for entry into the selected UTS undergraduate program.

For postgraduate admission, academic merit in the most recently completed and recognised qualification or the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT Exam) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE General Test) (both tests accepted for admission into UTS Business School programs only) for entry into the selected postgraduate coursework program.

To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must meet all of the following criteria:

Remain an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia) and
Be a citizen of one of the following countries in the Southeast Asia region:

• Brunei or
• Cambodia or
• Indonesia or
• Laos or
• Malaysia or
• Philippines or
• Singapore or
• Thailand or
• Timor-Leste or
• Vietnam and

Meet all admission requirements for the selected UTS undergraduate (including Honours programs) or postgraduate coursework program and
Commencing full-time and on campus (Sydney)[1]
Be admitted into an UTS coursework intake between Spring session 2026 to Summer session 2028 and
Must not be:
Studying a UTS online degree or distance degree or
A recipient of other UTS scholarships or grants or the UTS Alumni Advantage Program for the duration of this Scholarship and be a government sponsored student.
