To be eligible, international undergraduate students must normally be:
- Entering their first year in an undergraduate degree program at UVic and meet UVic's academic and English proficiency requirements.
- A current secondary school student or have graduated within the last two years and have not attended a post-secondary institution
- Admitted to UVic with a competitive admission average
- An international student studying at UVic on a Canadian study permit (changes to your citizenship status may effect your scholarship eligibility)
Up to twenty scholarships of $5,000 each are awarded to academically outstanding international students entering the University of Victoria from St. Margaret's School in Saanich, B.C.
If all twenty scholarships cannot be awarded to international students entering UVic from St. Margaret's School, the balance can be given to:
- international women students entering an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Engineering & Computer Science.
