A writing sample of 750 words explaining why you would like to be considered for the award. The statement should include the following:

The MA programme you have applied for and why you have chosen it
A possible dissertation topic
How you expect this MA to contribute to the trajectory of your studies and/or future employment

Open to UK and international students.

The Department of English and Comparative Literature is offering five £1,000 awards (one for each MA programme) for applicants to any MA programme based in ECLS.Link opens in a new window Home and international applicants are eligible to apply. The award will take the form of a discount to tuition fees and may be combined with the 10% alumni discount scheme

In order to apply, you must have completed a University of Warwick application and received an offer for a place on an ECLS MA programme.

Please note:

awards are open to both home and EU or overseas students.

if you are in receipt of a full fee waiver (e.g., through the Warwick Taught Master's Scholarship Scheme), you will not be eligible for the award.

normally you will not be eligible if you already hold a Master's or PhD qualification.
