Innovation in Psychology Graduate Scholarship

Eligibility & selection criteria:

• Graduate students registered full-time in the department of Psychology.
• Students must be conducting innovative research on improving mental health outcomes for children and their families.
• Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum cumulative average of 75% or equivalent over the last two years of full-time study) and their research program.
• Interested students must apply using the application found on the Department of Psychology website, by February 15 applicants must include a 500-word statement demonstrating how their line of research will have a direct impact on improving the mental health outcomes for children and their families. This could be helping children and adolescents function better in a variety of environments, including school, their peer group or in their family.
• This award can be held in conjunction with any other funding they may be receiving.
• A committee comprised of representatives from the Faculty of Arts Department of Psychology will select recipients annually, normally each winter term.
