Eligibility & selection criteria:
full-time graduate students registered in Biology in the master's or doctoral program in the Department of Biology in the Faculty of Science
selection to be based on academic achievement (minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent over the last two full-time academic years) and students conducting research in zoology
department of Biology will identify candidates and select recipients normally each Winter (March/April).
Award description:
A scholarship, valued at up to CAN $3,750, will be awarded annually to a graduate student registered full time in the Department of Biology, who is conducting research in zoology. Selection is based on academic achievement (minimum cumulative average of 80% or equivalent) over the last two full-time academic years. The Department of Biology will identify and select a recipient annually in the Winter term. This fund is made possible by a donation from the J. Frank Brookfield Trust to support exceptional students studying zoology.
