Eligibility & selection criteria:
full-time graduate students registered in year two of the research based Master's program in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering
selection to be based on academic excellence (i.e., minimum cumulative average of 80%) and demonstrated interest in building the community based on an application submitted to the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
preference will be given to a female student.
the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering will identify candidates and select recipients each fall.
Award description:
A scholarship valued at up to CAN $3,250 will be awarded annually to a full-time graduate student registered in year two of the Master's program in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum cumulative average of 80%) and a demonstrated interest in the area of community development. This fund is made possible by a donation from Neelanjana Pal's family in her honour.
