One scholarship valued at CAN $20,000, will be awarded to a graduate student who is registered full time in a Master's or PhD program and who is conducting research in topics aligned with quantum-safe cryptography. Students who apply to the program with the intention of completing the Diploma in Quantum-Safe Cryptography (currently under approval) are also eligible. Selection will be based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average in their current program or over the last two full-time academic years), publications, and lay abstract of research proposal. The student's research plan must be aligned to quantum safe cryptography and must have a supervisor willing to supervise in quantum-safe cryptography research.
