Eligibility & selection criteria:
Graduate students registered full-time in their first year of a doctoral program in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science in the Faculty of Mathematics.
Selection will be based on applications for admission to the program and based on academic excellence (minimum 80% cumulative average or equivalent in their current program or over the last two full-time academic years), and research potential.
The Graduate Awards Committee in the Department of Statistics and Actuarial Science will identify (a) candidate(s) and select (a) recipient(s) normally each Winter.
