Eligibility & selection criteria:
Graduate students registered full-time in a master's or doctoral program in Statistics and Actuarial Science
Students must have presented their research in the field of Statistics, Actuarial Science and Finance at the SASF conference.
A departmental selection committee comprised of faculty members from Statistics and Actuarial Science will select up to four recipients annually based on the presentations at the conference.
Award description:
The Statistics, Actuarial Science and Finance (SASF) Conference Presentation Awards, valued at CAN $500 each, will be provided annually to up to four students who gave the best research presentation by participating in the Waterloo Student Conference in Statistics, Actuarial Science and Finance Conference. Selection will be made by a departmental committee comprised of faculty members from Statistics and Actuarial Science.

Student selected automatically by Faculty/Department
