Brian Large scholarship

Eligibility

Candidates must be UK residents, hold an offer for the full-time MSc Transport Planning at the University of Westminster, and demonstrate a clear commitment to developing a transport career in the UK.

Criteria

Priority will be given to candidates who:

• are very unlikely to be able to study full time without the bursary
• have a good understanding of career opportunities in transport and of the career they wish to develop
• have a good first degree, preferably at least a 2:1, and/or, for candidates with professional experience, can demonstrate a high level of competence and strong commitment to their work
• do not already hold non-repayable awards totalling more than £8,000 at the time of application.
• Bursary holders should not undertake paid employment that affects their participation in any aspect of the course, including timetabled classes, workshops, seminars, group discussions, visits and other collective activities.
