VUW Undergraduate International Scholarship

Students will be assessed for their eligibility for a scholarship on application for their programme. Recipients will be advised if they have been offered the scholarship in their Offer of Place.

To be eligible for this scholarship, students must be:

• International students who are paying full international fees and
• Intending to study towards a Bachelor's degree at Victoria University of Wellington and
• A holder of an unconditional or conditional Offer of Place for a Bachelor's degree at Victoria University of Wellington and
• New students to Victoria University of Wellington.

For the avoidance of doubt, this scholarship is open to students who are completing or have recently completed:

• Victoria University of Wellington's English for Academic Purposes (EAP) programme or
• Victoria University of Wellington's Foundation Studies programme.

Students are not eligible for this scholarship if they:

• Are (prior to, or at the time of, consideration for the scholarship) already studying at Victoria University of Wellington (returning students) (unless they are undertaking the University's EAP or Foundation Studies programmes) or
• are a Study Abroad or Exchange student or a Twinning student from one of our overseas partner universities or
• have received credit transfer from a previous qualification, also known as advanced standing or recognition of prior learning or
• are sponsored by their home Government, or the New Zealand Government or
• are Australian or New Zealand citizens, permanent residents or resident visa holders, or on a diplomatic visa entitled to domestic status.
