Federation University Australia was formed when the former University of Ballarat and the Gippsland Campus of Monash University were amalgamated. The University's history dates back to 1870. Students can join a whole new generation of thinkers, shapers and creators chasing their ambitions at FedUni. As one of Victoria's 5-star universities, it offers over 400 programs from short courses to degrees and beyond. Students can select from a wide range of study areas including business, education, engineering, information technology, nursing and healthcare, performing and visual arts, psychology, science and mathematics and sport, outdoor and physical education.

Federation University Australia is regional Victoria's largest education institution, with campuses in Ballarat, Berwick, Brisbane, Gippsland and the Wimmera providing easy access to study, and approximately 1,300 staff committed to teaching excellence and student support. Either onsite or close by, all campuses have everything students need to get ahead in their studies, but also enjoy life outside the classroom.
