Counselling

Adelaide University offers free, confidential and short-term professional counselling to support students with any concerns regarding their study and life, such as adjusting to change including being in a new culture or new city, managing anxiety, depression and stress, adjusting to academic expectations and time management.

Adelaide University operates out of seven metropolitan and regional campuses, which offer students dynamic learning environments and access to modern, purpose-built facilities.

Adelaide City Campus

Set in the Central Business District, the campus features buildings steeped in history, vibrant galleries and public spaces, along with the latest in teaching and research facilities. The campus encompasses precincts at both the east and west ends of the city. Adelaide City Campus – West and Adelaide City – East. Both campuses are easily accessed by public transport and are in the city's free tram travel zone.

Magill Campus

Tucked in the picturesque eastern suburbs of Adelaide, Magill Campus houses cutting-edge research laboratories and hands-on studios, a dedicated theatre and an industry-standard TV and radio station. Getting to the campus is easy using local bus routes, and there is plenty of affordable on-campus car parking for students who are driving.

Mawson Lakes Campus

Set alongside 114 hectares of wetlands that lie within the Mawson Lakes residential development, the campus is close to Technology Park, which houses several global space, technology and defence companies. Mawson Lakes Campus is easily accessible by train with the Mawson Lakes rail interchange nearby, with on-campus car parking.

Waite Campus

The Waite Campus is home to several agricultural, horticultural and viticultural industry partners engaged in world-class research. Getting to Waite Campus is easy via one of the many nearby bus routes and there are also plenty of on-campus car parks.

Roseworthy Campus

The Roseworthy Campus was originally established in 1883, as Australia's first agricultural college, and is home to the university's animal and veterinary science research. It includes a fully operational livestock farm and an aquatic reserve. Roseworthy Campus is just under an hour from the city centre and offers convenient on-campus parking.

Adelaide Academic Excellence Scholarship (50%)

This scholarship is applicable to international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees who have achieved outstanding academic performance in their previous studies.

This scholarship is highly competitive with limited places.

Adelaide Emerging Leaders Award (25%)

This award supports international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees who display leadership qualities through strong academic achievement.

Adelaide Merit Scholarship (15%)

This scholarship supports international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees, who are committed to their academic achievement.

Adelaide Global Alumni Scholarship (10%)

This scholarship supports international students who have previously studied at Adelaide University, the University of South Australia or the University of Adelaide, and are commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree.

Adelaide Partner Award (10%)

This award supports international students commencing undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degrees.
