College Certificate in Introduction to Canadian Healthcare Studies (Ottawa)

Learn the fundamentals of Canadian healthcare and develop your communication skills, all while settling into student life in Canada. Over the course of one semester in the Introduction to Canadian Healthcare Studies program, you prepare for the rigorous academic and professional challenges, expectations and standards of your chosen healthcare program. This Algonquin College Certificate is intended for international students with a conditional acceptance to any of the following programs:

Cardiovascular Technology
Dental Assisting
Dental Hygiene
Diagnostic Medical Sonography
Massage Therapy
Medical Device Reprocessing
Medical Radiation Technology

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Applicants with an OSSD showing senior English and/or mathematics courses at the Basic Level, or with Workplace or Open courses, will be tested to determine their eligibility for admission; IELTS Academic -Overall 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5) TOEFL - iBT - Total 80 (no score below 20)
