BEng (Hons) Engineering (Top-up)

As a BEng (Hons) Engineering Top-up student at ARU Peterborough, you’ll develop skills in original thinking and independent learning, whilst acquiring holistic engineering skills to further a successful career in engineering.

You’ll be involved in the design, analysis, optimisation and manufacture of state-of-the-art engineering systems and processes and gain experience in the use of digital tools for engineering with a focus on design for manufacture.

During the course, you’ll have the opportunity to work in a team on real world engineering challenges and develop a holistic approach in the consideration of engineering problems including social, commercial, legal, and the environment impacts.

You’ll develop advanced knowledge and skills in areas such as lean manufacturing, robotics and computer aided engineering and the project management module will give you those essential management skills you’ll need in the workplace.
