• Engineering - APU's engineering programmes are fully accredited by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). APU Engineering combines industry-driven learning, emerging technology specialisations, future-ready engineers.

• Education - The Master of Education in Learning Design and Technology at APU equips students with advanced skills to tackle the rapidly evolving fields of digital learning, AI and instructional technology.
• Architecture - This three-year Architecture degree programme focuses on digital technologies and built environment. The programme is approved by Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM).

APU offers international students a wide range of accommodation options in various sizes and budgets. The APU On-Campus Residence provides students everything that they need, from lounge areas to a common pantry. Students at the on-campus residence will be living in an environment designed not only to house but also to foster community and intellectual growth.

Located within APU's Campus in Technology Park Malaysia, the APU On-Campus Residence is equipped with round-the-clock security and access card control. Students staying in the APU On-Campus Residence can access the campus facilities directly, including the SweatZone, swimming pool and more.

In addition to the On-Campus Residence, APU also offers a variety of Off-Campus Residence options to cater to different lifestyles, preferences, and budgets. Located within convenient access to the university, these residences provide students with a comfortable and student-friendly living environment while allowing greater flexibility and independence. Its Off-Campus Residences also provide free shuttle bus services to and from the APU campus, ensuring a convenient and accessible commuting experience for students.

Through both on-campus and off-campus accommodation options, APU remains committed to ensuring that international students feel welcomed, supported, and at home throughout their educational journey in Malaysia.

Entry requirements at APU may vary according to the programme level, field of study and the applicant's country-specific academic qualifications. International qualifications from different countries are assessed based on their equivalency to Malaysian entry requirements. Certain programmes may also have additional subject prerequisites, portfolio requirements or English language competency standards. Applicants are advised to refer to the specific programme entry requirements or contact APU for detailed country-specific admission guidance. Students who do not have the required English language proficiency to gain entry to the courses may apply for a student visa on a conditional basis. Students may be allowed to enrol in an English Language Certification programme at APU upon arrival and appear for the IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/MUET assessment subsequently.

Scholarships

International students at APU can avail scholarships and merit awards, offered on a first come first serve basis. As part of the university's continuous efforts to provide students better opportunities to pursue higher education deserving and talented candidates are offered a wide range of fee awards leading to discounts. Country specific qualifications and scholarships are available.

Applicants who have completed their A-Levels, O-Levels/IGCSE or their International Baccalaureate with the required Minimum score as stipulated by the university are eligible for a merit award in the form of a fee rebate. The merit awards carry a fee discount ranging from 10 to 30 per cent, easing the financial burden on international students.

All applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements and maintain a Credit Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.50 in order to enjoy the benefits of the fee rebates in subsequent years.

APU's campus is situated in a high-technology park environment and is equipped with a wide range of facilities and amenities to enable students to get the most out of their study experience.

• Library - APU's state-of-the-art library is a gateway to a comprehensive collection of books, journals and other related publications to support research. Students can also access online digital libraries from providers such as Proquest, Emerald, ACM and Current Law Journals.
• Centre Point & Atrium - The APU Centre Point & Atrium is venue for most of the cultural activities organised regularly on campus, fostering long-lasting intercultural relationships among APU students. It serves as a place for students to come together to formulate ideas as well as explore innovative solutions to the world's problems.

The counselling service provides expert guidance to students in matters related to enrolment processes, course requirements, fees, scholarships and help students in making informed choices about their academic path.

The university also offers individual counselling, providing a confidential space with a trained therapist. Other services provided to ensure student well-being include interactive educational sessions focusing on mental health and advice and guidance in areas such as stress management and coping strategies. The sessions are designed to equip students with the required skills to support their well-being.
