Bachelor of Cyber Security (BCybSec)

Cyber Security is the practice of protecting electronic data systems from criminal or unauthorised attacks. Cyber Security serves as a preventative measure to defend confidential data and protect data processes and procedures from unwanted breaches. Cyber Security has become an increasingly important field within the business world, with governments acknowledging the significant threat cyber-attacks pose. Cyber-attacks threaten everyone – individuals, organisations, and governments, so there is every indication that these threats will continue and increase in frequency and sophistication.ADCI’s Bachelor of Cyber Security is an excellent choice for curious and passionate individuals who strongly desire to learn, enjoy creative problem-solving, and to make an impact in the ever evolving space of cyber security.

Secondary Education:

Completion of Year 12,
A Final School Grade of C, or higher in Mathematics Methods, or;
Successful Completion of the Unit of Study: MAT101 – Introduction to Mathematics

Foundation Studies

Successful completion of Foundation Studies at a recognised Higher Education Provider.

VET Qualification

Successful completion of vocation qualification (AQF Level 4) or higher, in Information and Communications Technology.

English Proficiency Requirements

Applicants from countries where English is not their first language, are required to provide evidence of their English Proficiency through one of the following approved English Language Proficiency Tests.

IELTS (International English Language Testing System):

Minimum overall score of 6.0, with no individual band score less than 5.5.

TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language):

Minimum overall score of 64 (Internet-Based), and a minimum score of 17 in each section.

PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English):

Minimum overall score of 50-57 (with no individual band less than 50).

Cambridge English:

Minimum overall score of 180, with each component score no less than 180.
