Bishop’s offers programs tailor-made for your interests and goals. It’s possible (and common) for Bishop’s students to combine two majors without extending the duration of their degree (recent examples include: Music and Mathematics, Biology and Mathematics, Philosophy and Mathematics). This is made possible by the fact that required courses in one program can be counted as electives in the other. The Majors programs provide students with excellent general preparation for the career world, while not preventing entrance into graduate school (sometimes after a qualifying year). Requirements: U1 (normally) : MAT 191, MAT 192, ENG 116, Humanities 1xx option, PHY 191 & PHY 192 (for B.Sc. only) MAT 108, MAT 200, MAT 206, MAT 207, MAT 209, CS 211, MAT 310, MAT 313, MAT 314, MAT 315, MAT 322 3 credits from the list {MAT 202, MAT 203 OR MAT 220} 6 optional credits of Mathematics courses at the 100 level or higher, 9 optional credits of Mathematics courses at the 300 level or higher. 3 credits to satisfy the Arts and Science requirement.
