English (10 weeks)

Bond University College offers English language classes for international students planning to enrol at Bond University. The program focusses on the academic language skills required to study at a university where all classes are taught in English. These skills include reading, writing, listening, and speaking (including pronunciation) as well as critical thinking and research skills. The program will also help you become more competent with the technology and IT programs used at Bond, and more comfortable with the interactive, discussion-based style of learning practiced at Australian universities.Bond English students are enrolled in mixed ability classes, this includes placing students with varying language proficiency levels together in the same class. This approach fosters a personalised learning experience where teachers can cater to individual needs. Benefits include enhanced motivation, collaborative learning, and exposure to real world language use. In mixed ability classes, learners interact with peers of different proficiency levels and promote an inclusive environment. For learners seeking to improve their language competency, a University based program that adopts mixed ability grouping offers a supportive and diverse environment, tailored instruction and practical language application, ensuring an effective and engaging language learning journey. There are a range of academic English language classes available at different levels to suit your language abilities. Program outcomes and scheduling are designed to ensure a seamless transition into a Bond University College foundation program or diploma or a Bond University undergraduate or postgraduate program.
