English Language Program

The English Language Program prepares students for post-secondary academic study. Students whose first language is not English will develop strategies for using English to be successful in Canadian academic settings. Students will build upon their own backgrounds and experiences and integrate these with intercultural and Canadian situations and academic subjects. Students receive instruction with a focus on developing English language skills for academic and communicative purposes. Students within the English Language Program will improve their English skills from intermediate to advanced levels in all the skill areas (reading, writing, speaking and listening).
