Global Finance (Professional Practice) MSc

If you hold eligible professional qualifications, you may be able to receive credit towards the Global Finance MSc with Advanced Standing. This can reduce the amount of study required to complete the course, subject to the qualifications held and the university's recognition of prior learning requirements. This course will be assessed using a variety of methods which could vary depending upon the module. Assessment methods may include: reports tests essays practical coursework assignments presentations. An honours degree 2:2 or above (or international equivalent) in a business-related discipline. Evidence of relevant professional qualifications equivalent to Level 6 or at least two years finance-related work experience will be considered.

Entry with Advanced Standing:

Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA Charter holders) can apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) to be exempt from up to 120 credits of taught modules. Applicants may be invited to an online interview to ensure suitability for the course. Accepted applicants will be required to complete and pass the 60-credit Dissertation module to be eligible for the award of Global Finance MSc.
