Master of Professional Accounting

The Master of Professional Accounting is a 1.5-year full-time (or equivalent part-time for domestic students only) qualification designed to provide a broad conceptual framework in accounting while developing practical technical accounting skills, analytical abilities, business acumen, critical thinking, and communication skills. The program prepares graduates for professional accounting roles across business advisory, taxation, management consulting, financial management, auditing, investment advisory, and strategic planning. It is also aligned with the accreditation requirements of CPA Australia (CPA Australia) and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ), enabling graduates to meet the academic requirements for professional accreditation upon successful completion of the course.

Applicants must meet at least one of the following entry requirements: successful completion of a recognised AQF Level 7 undergraduate degree (or overseas equivalent) delivered in English with a minimum GPA of 2.4/4.0; a Bachelor of Accounting, Graduate Certificate in Accounting, or Graduate Diploma in Accounting (or equivalent); or a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience that may be considered for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
